Terms of Service.
Version: Beta 1.1 · Effective date: Jun 8, 2026 · Last updated: June 9, 2026 Applies to: disciplina.app, journal.disciplina.app
disciplina. is currently in an invite-only beta. By requesting or accepting access, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short and written to be understood, not to hide anything.
These terms will be updated when disciplina. moves out of beta and introduces paid plans. Beta testers will be notified before any material changes take effect.
§1 · Who's running this
disciplina. is a personal project currently developed and operated by Marcin Szczur also known as Martin Reed , an individual based in Poland. It is not yet a registered business. Think of this as an independent developer inviting a small group of traders to help test and shape something real.
When you have questions or concerns, you can reach me at hello@disciplina.app.
§2 · What disciplina. is — and isn't
disciplina. is a post-session trading journal and self-coaching tool. It helps you review your own sessions, surface behavioral patterns in how you trade, and reflect on your decisions using structured frameworks drawn from trading psychology.
disciplina. does not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, financial planning, or any form of regulated financial guidance. Nothing in the app — including Discipline Flags, AI Recap, Cognitive Traces, behavioral analysis, or any other feature — should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, instrument, or asset. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.
Past behavioral patterns identified by the app do not guarantee future trading results. Improving your discipline may improve your outcomes — but disciplina. makes no promises about your P&L, win rate, or any other performance metric.
§3 · Beta access
Access to disciplina. during the beta period is free, invite-only, and limited to approximately 30 participants. By participating, you understand and accept that:
- The product is unfinished. You will encounter bugs, rough edges, missing features, and things that break. That's the point of a beta.
- Features may change or disappear. Anything in the beta — a tab, a metric, a workflow — may be redesigned, removed, or replaced before the public launch.
- There is no uptime guarantee. The service may go offline for maintenance, updates, or unexpected reasons without advance notice.
- Data may be reset. In rare cases during the beta, data resets may be necessary. I'll do my best to avoid this and will communicate clearly if it happens.
- Beta access is personal and non-transferable. Your invite is for you. Please don't share login credentials or access with others.
In exchange, your feedback — what works, what doesn't, what's confusing — is genuinely valuable and taken seriously.
As a thank-you for participating in the beta and sharing your feedback, all beta testers receive lifetime free access to disciplina. at the Standard plan level — at no cost, forever, regardless of what paid plans are introduced later. This applies to everyone who joins during the invite-only beta period. No action required on your part; the access will carry over automatically when the paid tiers launch.
§4 · Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your password. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact me at hello@disciplina.app immediately.
You must be at least 18 years old to use disciplina. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
§5 · Your data
Your trading data, journal entries, and Cognitive Traces belong to you. disciplina. stores them so you can access them across sessions — that's it. We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.
The AI Recap feature sends a session-level summary to generate coaching text. It does not send your full trading history or account credentials. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
You can export your trade data as CSV from within the app at any time. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
§6 · Acceptable use
disciplina. is built for traders who want to coach themselves. Please use it for that. Specifically, don't:
- Use the app to scrape, extract, or redistribute any part of the platform or its outputs at scale
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the underlying systems
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent the invite limit
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
- Share AI Recap outputs publicly in a way that misrepresents them as trading advice or signals
These are common-sense rules. If something feels like a grey area, ask first.
§7 · AI-generated content
The AI Recap feature generates coaching text in response to your session data. This content is produced by a language model and is intended for personal reflection only. It is not financial advice, it is not always accurate, and it should not be used as the basis for trading decisions.
The "voices" in AI Recap (Paul Tudor Jones, Jesse Livermore, Mark Douglas, Brett Steenbarger) are stylistic framings for reflective prompts — not actual statements from those individuals. Any resemblance to their views is interpretive, not authoritative.
If a recap says something that feels wrong, contradictory, or unhelpful — that's useful feedback. Use the feedback mechanism in the app or email me directly.
§8 · No warranties
disciplina. is provided as-is, particularly during the beta period. I can't promise the app will always be available, error-free, or that any particular feature will work the way you expect it to. I'm one person building this while trading it myself — things will break and I'll fix them.
More formally: to the extent permitted by applicable law, disciplina. is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
§9 · Limitation of liability
disciplina. will not be liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, financial damages, or any other indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or reliance on anything it produces.
During the beta period, since the service is free, any liability is further limited to the amount you have paid — which is zero.
This section will be updated when paid plans are introduced.
§10 · Termination
You can close your account at any time from the app settings. Your data will be deleted within 30 days.
I reserve the right to suspend or remove access to any account, at any time, with or without explanation. In practice, this would only happen if someone is abusing the platform, sharing access, or acting in bad faith. Beta slots are limited and I want them used by people who are actually here to test and improve the product.
If your account is removed, I'll let you know by email and give you the opportunity to export your data before deletion, unless the removal is due to a serious breach of these terms.
§11 · Intellectual property
The disciplina. platform, its design, code, and all original content belong to the developer. You're welcome to use the app as intended — you don't get a licence to copy, redistribute, or build on top of it.
Your own content — journal entries, notes, Cognitive Traces — belongs to you. disciplina. doesn't claim any ownership over what you write.
§12 · Changes to these terms
These terms will change when disciplina. moves out of beta. When that happens, I'll email beta participants at least 30 days before the new terms take effect, and I'll be clear about what's changing and why.
For minor clarifications or corrections, the effective date will be updated and the change will be noted — but no advance notice will be sent.
§13 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. If a dispute arises, we'll try to resolve it directly first — email is the right starting point. If that doesn't work, Polish courts have jurisdiction.
This will be reviewed and potentially updated when a business entity is established.
§14 · Contact

I read every email.
