## Core concepts

### Discipline Flags
Named behavioral patterns that fire when a trader deviates from their plan:
- **Revenge entry** — entering a trade to recover a loss, not because the setup is valid
- **Loss chasing** — adding to or re-entering a losing position
- **Oversized position** — position size significantly above the trader's own rule
- **Runaway trade** — holding a position far beyond the planned exit
- **Daily limit breach** — trading after hitting the daily loss limit

### Toxic Combo
The specific combination of oversized + runaway occurring in the same trade. This is
disciplina.'s signature behavioral insight: a runaway trade on its own is often a trader's
edge (long holds at normal size win at a high rate). An oversized trade on its own is roughly
neutral. The account-killer is the two together. disciplina. flags this exact combination
separately from either flag alone.

### Cognitive Trace
The self-coaching framework at the heart of disciplina.'s Day Review. Drawn from
Brett Steenbarger's cognitive-behavioral methodology. Three columns:

### Plan vs. Execution
A feature that extracts the intents from a trader's pre-market plan and matches them
deterministically against actual trades. Shows where execution matched the plan and where

The post-session journaling screen. Contains the Cognitive Trace, Standout Trade selector
(one trade examined in depth rather than skimming all of them), trade-level notes, and
emotion tagging.

### Focus Callback
A mechanism in the AI Recap that identifies the single most important behavioral pattern
from the session and brings it forward as the focus for the next session.
